Making Reservations
Make your reservations directly with the hotel of your choice for the Championship. Room blocks have been reserved at the locations listed below for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, November 29-December 1. The deadline to reserve rooms under the "Texas BEST Robotics" room block at participating hotels listed below is November 14, 2007.
When you call the hotel:
- Ask for rooms reserved for "Texas BEST Robotics" to receive the group rate.
- Provide the hotel with a credit card number. All hotels will require this to hold your reservation and as a guarantee against lost items or damages.
- Provide the hotel with a list of those staying in the rooms. Rooming lists are required by all hotels to hold reservations and must be submitted by the deadline dates. Hotels will provide copies of rooming lists to Texas BEST. Failure to submit rooming lists by stated deadlines will likely result in cancellation of room reservations, with penalty fees applied.
Please be considerate of the needs of other teams and book only the number of rooms your team is expected to use. Drop any unneeded rooms before the deadline so that others have the availability they need at the event rate.
Advance Check-In
Check with your hotel for advance check-in options that may be available if you arrive before the regular check-in time.
Curfew
All Texas BEST students must be in their hotel rooms by midnight. This curfew and other policy items of the Texas BEST Code of Student Conduct will be monitored at all hotels.
Conduct
Hotels reserve the right to refuse continued or future service to any Texas BEST team because of inappropriate conduct of individuals representing the team/school.
