Announces
Raider Red's Awesome Dance Spectacular

The Department of Theatre and Dance announces the annual production of Raider Red's Awesome Dance Spectacular (RRADS). RRADS features original choreography in a variety of dance genres with an emphasis on fresh physicality and small ensemble work. Performances are in the Lab Theatre, April 9 - 11at 8 p.m. and April 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5. Students with a valid Texas Tech ID receive free admission.

Choreography pieces featured in RRADS include Don't with choreography by Keaton West, Thanatos: An Adaptation of Samuel Beckett's "Texts for Nothing: II" choreographed by Hannah McKinney, Untitled featuring choreography by Maggie Nickens, and Finally Free choreographed by Caitlin Williams, Rising by choreographer Anna Chavarria.

RRADS will also feature I Lay My Armor Down choreographed by Shannon Hurleigh, Released with choreography by Rickey Phoummany, Rhythmic Persuasion featuring choreography by Logan DeAnda and Caitlin Williams, The Dream choreographed by Whitney Hart, and This is Me? with choreography by Alyssa Harrison.

RRADS promises to be an evening of diverse and original student works of ballet, modern, jazz and contemporary styles. This production is a tremendous opportunity for students to develop and showcase their choreography pieces to the community.
