16th Annual Advancing Teaching and Learning Conference
Parking at the Overton Hotel
Parking at the Overton Hotel is free for conference participants. The conference center is located in the northwest corner of the hotel and the entrance to the parking lot is the Marsha Sharp Freeway off of Avenue X.
Menu
Breakfast
Assorted fruit, muffins, bagels, pecan sticky buns, and a build-your-own parfait bar. Coffee, hot tea, orange juice, and water are also available.
Lunch
Salad: Seasonal Garden Salad- Fresh seasonal veggies tossed with baby field greens and served with a light balsamic vinaigrette or ranch salad dressing.
Entree: Chicken Marsala- Sautéed chicken breast in butter and herbs topped with rich, mushroom Marsala sauce. Garlic and herb mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and a roll are served on the side. (*Please note that the main selection is also gluten free, with the exception of the dinner roll.)
Vegetarian/Vegan option: Roasted Ratatouille- Fresh assortment of stewed vegetables paired with a vegan chuck wagon steak and topped with a vegetable velouté.
Dessert: Chocolate mousse (Gluten Free) or apple crumble with caramel praline sauce. (Fresh fruit cups will be made available as a vegan option.)
