Introduction to Server Support

Servers that are connected to a public network and directly to the Internet are increasingly more vulnerable to hacking attempts and virus attacks, especially because these servers typically house critical and confidential information. Due to the complexity of the servers and the need to have these systems available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Texas Tech has provided its customers with a Server Support group that can assist the faculty, staff and students to insure that our systems are available and secure at all times.
