Advanced Project-Based Learning (PBL)
"I’ve implemented project-based learning (PBL), now what?" In this interactive three-day workshop, participants will be involved with protocols used to assess the level of rigor involved in previously implemented PBL units.
Through facilitated planning and mini-workshop style lessons, the participant will broaden their knowledge of PBL. Areas of highlight will include multidisciplinary PBL units, assessments (formative and summative), managing groups and managing the project calendar.

About the Instructors
Felicia Pittman has a Bachelor’s degree in biology AS chemistry, and M.Ed. in educational administration, and an Ed.D. in educational administration. She will receive her Superintendent Certification in 2015.
She is a T-STEM Leadership Coach for Educate Texas. She also conducts professional development and is an affiliate faculty member for the University of Texas at Dallas and is a T-STEM Academy Leader for Conrad STEM Academy in Dallas ISD.
Dr. Pittman has been a science teacher in Texas and Louisiana, a laboratory manager/senior chemist for Shell Oil Products, and a laboratory research associate for the Louisiana State University Health Science Center.
