TTUISD High School Solutions

Thank you for your interest in Texas Tech University Independent School District. We invite you to learn more about our High School. Our courses and Credit By Exams (CBEs) are aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

Our Accredited High School

TTUISD High School students enrolling in the ninth grade during or after the 2007-2008 school year must complete the Recommended College Plan (26 credits). Students who began their ninth grade (freshman year) before or during the 2006-2007 school year can graduate under the Recommended College Plan (24 credits). See the Texas Education Agency (TEA) web site for the requirements according to the freshman year at www.tea.state.tx.us/graduation.aspx.

Students may choose the Minimum Plan (22 credit) rather than the Recommended College Plans (24 or 26 credits) if we have written permission from the parents or from the student who is 18 years old or older.

Students who successfully complete high school requirements and pass the exit-level TAKS will earn a Texas high school diploma.

Credit By Exams

Students have the option to take a CBE to test out of a certain subject. Search CBEs.
