Abilene Rocket Fest 2010 hosted 49 high school students and nine high school teachers in professional development. Camp facilitators included John Chandler from the Texas Tech University T-STEM Center and Greg Burnham from Lubbock ISD. The camp gave high school students an opportunity to design, build and launch their own rockets at the Abilene campus of Texas State Technical College West Texas.
