Tonya Pinkerton was recently named senior director of planning and budget at University College.

“I am very excited to join the staff at University College. I feel like my past experience in sponsored programs accounting and reporting and accounts payable will be integral to my new position and benefit University College as it continues to grow,” Pinkerton said.

Pinkerton joins University College from Sponsored Programs Accounting and Reporting at Texas Tech University where she served as accounting manager. Previously, she worked in Accounts Payable as the section coordinator.

Pinkerton is currently a candidate for a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at Texas Tech. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University. She is also an alumna of University of Texas Permian Basin where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration.
