Description:
This CD-ROM language course is designed to teach healthcare professionals the specialized medical Spanish vocabulary needed to engage in a meaningful dialogue with their patients. You will begin by learning basic pronunciation and grammar skills, become familiar with phrases to engage in simple, everyday conversations, and learn the most frequently used words and sentences in the medical Spanish vocabulary. The course incorporates audio segments to help you overcome language barriers; therefore, you must have acomputer with CD-ROM capability and a sound card. Assignments and practice exercises are included to reinforce the learning process and help you assess your own progress in your studies and mastery of the course material.
