Instructor/Presenter:	Dr. Arquimedes (Archie) Ruiz Columbie' is currently an instructor of the University College at Texas Tech University. Dr. Ruiz has a background of more than 30 years as a research scientist in Cloud Physics and Weather Modification for the Cuban National Academy of Sciences, and also as an adjunct professor in three Cuban universities. Dr. Ruiz also has 10 years of experience as a professional meteorologist mainly for the Texas Weather Modification Association. Dr. Ruiz received his Ph.D. in 2008 from Texas Tech University in Geosciences.
