Director

Jeannie Diaz
Jeannie Diaz is the director of the Center for Undergraduate Research at Texas Tech University. She has worked for Texas Tech University for over four years and has a background in public relations, marketing, corporate recruiting, and career center services. She is also a Lubbock native and graduate of Texas Tech University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a Master of Arts.

 

Unit Coordinator

Jessica Spott
Jessica Spott is the Unit Coordinator for the Center for Undergraduate Research. She is originally from Allen, TX but has resided in Lubbock for the last six years. She graduated from Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Spanish in December of 2005. She recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Communication Studies with a thesis topic of “Social and Academic Communicative Adaptability of First Year Freshmen Students”.

 

Senior Business Assistant

Jerylme Robins
Jerylme Robins is the Senior Business Assistant for the Center for Undergraduate Research. He is a Lubbock native and has worked for Texas Tech over four years. He has earned two undergraduate degrees in Music and Management as well as a Master’s of Science in Entertainment Business.

 

Student Relations Coordinators

Joe Street
Michael Street is a Student Liaison for the Center for Undergraduate Research.  He moved down to Texas in 2006 and is currently a junior at Texas Tech University dual majoring in Philosophy and English.

Tabatha Wilson
Tabatha Wilson is a Student Relations Coordinator for the Center for Undergraduate Research.  Tabatha is a "non-traditional" Pre-Med student at Texas Tech University.  She plans to attend the Texas Tech School of Medicine and pursue her medical career at home in Lubbock, where she and her husband are raising their five children.

Haley Word
Haley Word is a Student Relations Coordinator for the Center for Undergraduate Research. She is a Junior majoring in Business Administration with plans to pursue a law degree.
