Event Registration

Undergraduate Researchers are invited to present their research in a poster presentation format February 14, 2011, to state lawmakers and the public in Austin, Texas, for Undergraduate Research Day at the Texas State Capitol. The event is designed to showcase the contributions of undergraduate research in Texas. Poster presentations represent talented undergraduate students enrolled or recent undergraduates from a Texas general academic institution (recent = 1 year or less).

Abstracts due by 5:00p.m., January 10, 2011.

Due to the holidays, the deadline for abstract submission has been moved from December 10, 2010 to January 10, 2011.
***Note, registration fee payment will be coordinated with the Office of the President of each participating institution. Due to publishing deadlines, there is no guarantee that late abstracts will appear in the final publication.

INVITED PARTICIPANTS:

Due to limited poster space at the Capitol, each general academic institution in Texas may designate up to two participants.  Poster representative selection will be at the discretion of each institution.

Up to two abstracts will be accepted from each participating Texas general academic institution.  Event organizers will provide participation confirmation no later than January 10, 2011.
