Campus departments can request to post a message on the marquee by sending the event information via e-mail to marquee@ttu.edu . |

When sending a message to be placed on our marquee, please insure your message includes the following information and meets the following guidelines:
1. The event information needs to include the following:
2. The display of the marquee allows up to 14 characters per line with two lines per display. Messages are kept to a maximum of 4 display windows.
3. Messages displayed should be of interest to the general population of Texas Tech and the Lubbock community, and not target a specific group.
4. Messages run 2 to 7 days before the event.
5. Due to the cost of utilities, maintenance and operation, the United Spirit Arena will charge $25 per message each day the message runs.
6. Names of individuals should not be included in the message unless the person's name is part of the event title.
7. If a message is not approved for display, the sender will be notified via e-mail of the reason the message will not run. If the request to post a message is denied, an appeal can be made to the Vice President of Student Affairs.
8. The amount of time each message runs will be determined by how many messages are running each day. There is no guarantee how many times a message will run per hour.
9. If the marquee is needed for emergency messages, all other messages may be preempted during this time. |
