Jillian Yarbrough, Ph.D.

Dr. Yarbrough is an instructor of University Studies at Texas Tech University. Dr. Yarbrough earned a PhD, MBA, and MS from Texas A&M University and a BS from Texas Christian University. With over 16 years of experience in distance learning and professional technology training, she has developed a unique training style that combines academic discussion in an entertaining and dynamic team forum. “Learning is a life-long process and I value the opportunity to share and contribute to the learning experience of others."
Her interests include strategic alignment between employees and organizational goals, creative compensation, corporate training and development, distance learning and human relations. Dr. Yarbrough has recently presented on the following topics: Moving From a Distance Classroom to a Mobile Classroom, Effective Mentoring, Offering Your Time and Knowledge to Others and Assessing Online Discussions.
Dr. Yarbrough is a Co-Advisor for the Texas Tech Student SHRM association. She has also volunteered time discussing strategies for meaningful, life-long contributions for the Osher Life Long Learning Center.
