Distance Education Students
Who is eligible to recieve a Student ID?
Distance Education students who pay the ID Maintenance Fee are eligible to recieve a Texas Tech University Student ID.
What do you need to do to receive a Student ID?
- You will need to have the ID Verification Form notarized and mail it to the following address:

- Review the guidelines and follow the instructions for
submitting a photo. You will receive an email if your photo
is accepted or not.

- Once we receive your notarized form AND an acceptable uploaded photo, we will mail your ID to the address provided on your ID Verification Form.
Your first University ID is free. Lost, stolen, or damaged IDs are subject to an ID Replacement Fee. To replace an ID you will have to fill out a new ID Verification Form each time.
