Employment Opportunities with Upward Bound
Upward Bound Programs hires temporary and permanent staff for the entire academic year and summer components. During the Academic Year, Upward Bound Programs hires 5-12 Tutors/Student Assistants to help with the After-School Tutoring program and Academic Saturdays. After school tutoring occurs from 4-6pm Monday through Thursday and two (2) Saturdays per month from 8am-1pm. During the Summer Program, Upward Bound Programs hires 8-12 Resident Advisors to assist with the residential component to supervise the 100-150 high school students living in the residence hall. Seven (7) to nine (9) Instructors are hired to teach Math, Science, Lit/Comp, Foreign Language, Media Quest, Life Skills, Test Prep, and STEM classes.
