The building under construction on the northwestern side of the Texas Tech campus is more than bricks and mortar–it is the physical embodiment of a strong commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation by the university.
While the concept of a Texas Tech research park goes back several years, a perfect storm of a new university leadership and a push for more economically engaged universities by the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities gave new impetus to the idea.
