Fracturing Impacts and Technologies Conference (FIT) Poster Deadline
Please encourage your students to submit an abstract to present their posters at the Fracturing Impacts and Technologies (FIT) Conference to be held on Sept. 4th, 2014 at the Overton Hotel. Cash prizes for top posters! Suggested topics include: hydraulic fracturing technologies, water resources, water treatment and reuse, economic impacts of hydraulic fracturing, investing opportunities, environmental impacts-air, environmental impacts-water, health risks, transportation impacts, scenic impacts, federal regulations, public policy, community engagement, social license, media impacts, or other topics related to oil and gas operations. Students should send their abstracts and bios to rdt.vpr@ttu.edu by Aug. 1, 2014.

The goal of the conference is to foster an open inter-disciplinary dialogue on hydraulic fracturing operations.

Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program Deadline Approaching
The deadline for submitting a proposal for the Fulbright U.S. Scholars Program is Aug. 1, 2014.

If you plan to apply, and later if you receive the award, it is imperative that you notify the Office of Research Services. Notification will allow the OR&I and Provost's Office to plan for the incentives associated with these awards.
