Safety@TTU Kicks Off in September

Safety@TTU will kick off in September. Safety@TTU is an internal communications campaign meant to provide information, tips and reminders about safety on our campus.

While much of the information will involve our laboratories, Safety@TTU is meant to cover a range of topics from driver safety to general day-to-day issues in the workplace. You’ll see daily safety information throughout the month of September, and updates at least once a month thereafter in order to continue emphasizing the importance of the safety climate at Texas Tech.

Safety@TTU will focus on topics such as:
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Appropriate safety training for employees
  • Hazardous waste storage
  • General office safety tips

Safety@TTU is a collaborative effort from the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Office of the Provost and the Division of Environmental Health and Safety to remind faculty, staff and students that safety is everyone’s job.

Watch for the Safety@TTU blog, posters, tip sheets and much more coming Sept. 3.
