Charisse S. Moore

Senior Proposal Development Administrator

Charisse S. Moore currently serves as the Senior Proposal Development Administrator for the Research Development Team (RDT) in the Office of the Vice President for Research. In this role, she works with faculty to develop large, multi-disciplinary proposals to federal agencies and corporate foundations. Moore also works with regional, state and national partners to further develop collaborative teams to advance and achieve the strategic goals championed by the university.

Prior to joining Texas Tech, Moore served as the Bureau Manager for the Energy and Natural Resources Division of the Mississippi Development Authority. She was responsible for the management, development, implementation and program closeout of the Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant for the State of Mississippi. Additionally, she was responsible for fiscal and grants management of all federally funded grant programs for the division.

Moore graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
