Donna Peters
Institutional Review Board Coordinator
Donna Peters is the Coordinator for the Texas Tech University Institutional Review Board and Maanager of the Human Research Protection Program. She assists investigators with proposal submissions, approval notifications, extensions, amendments and terminations of their research studies involving human subjects. All research at Texas Tech University involving human subjects must be reviewed by the Institutional Review Board.
Donna started working at Texas Tech University in 1989 in academic advising. In 2006, she moved to the research division, working with sponsored programs and the IRB. She has a B.S. in Organizational Management, and is a Certified IRB Professional (CIP). Donna is also a member of PRIM&R, Public Responsibility in Medicine & Research.
