Director, Research Development Team
Kay Tindle currently serves as the Director for the Research Development Team (RDT) in the Office of the Vice President for Research. The RDT manages limited submissions competitions, provides editorial services for grant proposals, develops working groups around strategic initiatives, and leads teams of faculty and administrators in selecting targets for multidisciplinary, multi-institutional initiatives, refining their focus, organizing reviews, and ensuring that proposals are competitive.
Prior to joining Texas Tech, Kay served as the Grant Facilitator for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Central Oklahoma, interned at the Oklahoma State Regents of Higher Education, and taught English around the world (Japan, China, Saudi Arabia, South Korea).
Kay received her Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Oklahoma Christian University and her M.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education from TTU.
