Kayla Tindle

Senior Proposal Development Administrator

Kayla Tindle currently serves as the Senior Proposal Development Administrator for the Research Development Team (RDT) in the Office of the Vice President for Research. In this role, she works with faculty to develop large, multi-disciplinary proposals to federal agencies and corporate foundations. Tindle also works with regional, state and national partners to further develop collaborative teams to advance and achieve the strategic goals championed by the university.

Prior to joining Texas Tech, Tindle served as the Grant Facilitator for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Central Oklahoma. She supported all aspects of the proposal development process, including notification of funding opportunities, facilitation of grant proposal development, approval of grant proposals upon review, creation of grant budgets and budget narratives, and continuing education in grant writing.

Tindle received her B.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Oklahoma Christian University and her M.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education–Research from TTU.
