Tayler Odhiambo

Unit Coordinator

Tayler Odhiambo serves as the Unit Coordinator in the Office of the Vice President for Research. She provides support in the coordination and supervision of programs through the development, implementation, maintenance, reconciliation and tracking of budgets for the OVPR, Associate Vice Presidents for Research Integrity, Faculty Development, and Institutional Review Board. This includes departmental operating budgets, research division distributed funding, and university-wide research initiatives. She also is the human resources coordinator for the OVPR.

Tayler completed her undergraduate degree from West Texas A&M University. Prior to living in Lubbock, she served as Student Loan Account Specialist for many years at Panhandle Plains Student Loan Center. Tayler joined Texas Tech University in 2009 as Senior Business Assistant for the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She was transitioned to the OVPR in March 2011.

Tayler likes cooking, traveling, and watching football.
