January 7, 2013
I have received updated information regarding National Science Foundation proposals due on or after January 14, 2013. NSF has advised that the new Project Summary format will not be available in time for these submissions. PIs are advised that their Project Summary still MUST COMPLY with the new format. The one-page Summary must contain three (3) sections: Overview, Intellectual Merit, and Broader Impacts. Proposals that do not separately address the overview and both merit review criteria within the one-page summary will not be accepted or will be returned without review.
This is not the only change. There will be one more informational meeting that addresses the changes that will become effective this-coming Sunday, January 14, 2013. The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013, from 2:00pm until approximately 3:30pm in the Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development Center, located in Room 153 of the Library.
If this time is not convenient for you, there are informational modules about the changes located on the TTU Research and Academic YouTube website at: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLa9qHENdXhcEbl1ID_98jRsHliidrj0rE.
