Texas Tech University

Fall Semester Cayuse Training

September 6, 2013

The Office of Research Services has scheduled two more Cayuse Training Sessions for

  • Fri., Sept. 20, 2013, from 9-11 a.m. at the TLPDC, Room 151
  • Thurs., Oct. 3, 2013, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the TLPDC, Room 151

Priority will be given first to faculty and staff and then to graduate students.

If you are planning to submit a proposal to a federal sponsor in the near future, this is a training you will want to attend. You will learn to navigate the new proposal submission system Texas Tech University has purchased. You will see how to update personal profiles, search funding opportunities, route proposals electronically and complete grants.gov forms.

The Cayuse 424 system is able to track research proposal and award activity, allow multiple users to view and edit proposals simultaneously, provide for streamlined-internal routing and approval of proposals, facilitate submission to sponsor systems, use agency-specific rules for proposal checking, and store proposal and award documents.

Additional information is available on the ORS website (http://www.depts.ttu.edu/vpr/ors/cayuse/index.php).

Seating is limited to 15 per session and there are plans to schedule more training sessions in the later this semester.

If you do want to attend one of these sessions, please RSVP to Cindal Peterson, cindal.peterson@ttu.edu.

Unable to attend one of these sessions during the 8-5 day? There are step-by-step information modules available 24/7, on the ORS website at: http://mediacast.ttu.edu/Mediasite/Catalog/Full/ccae0d370de5421e83e1f6047da4fce721.
