Heather L. Thomas
Analyst II
Heather L. Thomas serves as an Analyst II in the Office of Research Services. In her role as Pre-award administrator she works with faculty members to develop budgets for their proposals, checks proposals for completeness and prepares them for mailing to agencies. She obtains additional approvals, as necessary, from the Chancellor and the TTU Board of Regents. She also assists in monthly preparation of reports and assists with training.
Heather joined the Office of Research Services in her current position in January 2011. Prior to this she has worked at TTU since 2007 holding positions in the Office of Research Services and the Honors College. Heather graduated from TTU with a B.A. in History, and is currently working on her Masters. Heather enjoys running, rock climbing, riding bikes, and pretty much anything active.
