Faculty Proposal Development Program

The purpose of the Faculty Proposal Development Program (FPDP) is to help faculty write successful proposals and, although the FPDP is focused primarily on junior faculty, the nine-month program is open to all faculty interested in writing successful grant proposals.

The group will meet the first Friday of each month. The sessions are interactive and will involve faculty members with successful funding histories. In addition to attending the monthly meetings, our intention is that faculty will collaborate within their group at a grassroots level on a weekly/monthly basis to promote the grant proposals each respective member is developing.

Faculty participating in the FPDP must make the time commitment necessary to work on a proposal. Further, support and a time commitment from each college and department are required to ensure that a high-quality proposal will result from this activity.
