New Innovation and Entrepreneur Curriculum Grants
Twice a year The Hub will place a call for applications of new curriculum to be developed.
Program funding schedule:
- Year 1 (2017-2018) 2 new courses, redeveloped courses may be considered
- Year 2 (2018-2019) 3 new courses, redeveloped courses may be considered
- Year 3 (2019-2020) 5 new courses, redeveloped courses may be considered
The grant awards are $5000 each. Faculty who are awarded the grants will become "ambassadors" for innovation and entrepreneurship for the academic year awarded.
As an ambassador faculty will be eligible and considered to represent TTUS in the Lean Launch training in California all expenses incurred by the hub. To be eligible faculty must request permission from the Dean/Department Chair and be willing to host two one-hour seminars for faculty/staff and make available the materials acquired at the training to the department or unit. A minimum attendance is required to be determined by Managing Director. The faculty ambassador bio, photo, and course will be listed on The Hub website.
The ambassador status entitles the faculty to be listed as a candidate for the annual recognition of the President's Innovation Award.
