During the month of April, a series of webinars will be offered on various aspects of Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer Research(SBIR/STTR) grants and contracts. Through these programs, the federal government sets aside $2.5 billion in extramural research support to small businesses engaged in technology innovation research. all through these programs, often referred to as "America's Largest Seed Fund."

The SBIR/STTR program, often referred to as "America's Largest Seed Fund," is an alternate venue for university faculty research. The series will be offered on the Texas Tech campus. Each one-hour webinar will be followed by a question and answer session led by the Director of the Texas Tech SBIR/STR Resource Center, Susan M. Back, PhD, MBA. Snacks and coffee will be served.
