Transdisciplinary Research Academy
The Transdisciplinary Research Academy is designed to bring people with diverse interests together to explore questions that have a global impact and intersect with the strategic research themes established by the university.
Achieving external funding is not the sole outcome of Academy projects. Academy members also are encouraged to develop white papers and grant proposals for agencies and foundations promoting potential solutions to global issues. Academy members may develop programs curricula to stimulate interactions across disciplines, as well.

The Transdisciplinary Research Academy has chosen 34 members to represent 2012 innaugural class. The members make up nine teams expected to generate new research projects for potential funding, write white papers for agencies and foundations, or develop curricula or programs that produce interaction across academic disciplines.
