Call For Proposals

The Office of the Vice President for Research announces the availability of at least 15,000 square feet of assignable laboratory space in the Experimental Sciences Building (ESB). The space is currently unfinished, but University funding is available to custom finish this space for the new occupants. Proposals for space in the building will be judged by an internal university committee that will consider the principal investigators’ ability to take advantage of the buildings unique assets, their likelihood of generating sustainable extramural funding, and their potential for contributing to the University’s research infrastructure through shared facilities. Individual investigators or interdisciplinary groups may apply. In the case of interdisciplinary groups, evidence of past collaboration must be provided.

Proposals may be submitted by any Texas Tech tenured or tenure-track faculty member regardless of departmental affiliation. There is no limit to the amount of space that may be requested, although the selection committee will expect solid justification in all cases. Building floor plans and tours are available from Mr. David Dorsett (david.dorsett@ttu.edu or or phone 806.742.3722 x222).
