Interview with Dr. Daniel Mahoney

Featuring Dr. Daniel J. Mahoney, Professor of Political Science, Assumption College.

Currently the Augustine Chair in Distinguished Scholarship, Dr. Mahoney received his B.A. from the College of Holy Cross and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Catholic University of America in political science. In 1999, Professor Mahoney was the recipient of the prestigious Prix Raymond Aron. He is associate editor of Perspectives on Political Science and book review editor for Society magazine. He is the foremost expert on Solzhenitsyn in the English speaking world as well as a renowned expert on French political philosophy. His books also include the critically acclaimed Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn: The Ascent from Ideology.

Although his plane was struck by lightning prior to take off, Dr. Mahoney happily made it to Lubbock in time.
