McDonald-Mehta Lecture Series 2012: Dr. Lance Manuel

At the first MML presentation of 2012, Dr. Lance Manuel from UT-Austin gives his talk.

The first presentation of the 2012 McDonald-Mehta Lecture Series featured Dr. Lance Manuel, Professor and Fluor Centennial Teaching Fellow in Engineering at the University of Texas-Austin.

His talk was titled "Research Directions and Design Practive in Modeling Loads on Wind Turbines," and included an overview of the practice of wind turbines and how to handle extreme atmospheric events.

The event was well attended by numerous faculty, students, and staff.
