The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) has recently returned their comments on the report handed in to them by the WISE PhD program. This was the third annual report, and was returned with favorable comments. Comments from THECB included positive comments on the progress that continues in the development of the program, the steady enrollment of PhD candidates, and the "commendable" financial support for full-time students. Both faculty and student productivity has remained high, and the board looks forward to receiving the next update. Congrats to all involved in this reporting process and especially to our faculty and students.
