  • Walk A Mile in Her Shoes - April 17th, 10:30 a.m., Lubbock County Courthouse.
    In 2008, the Lubbock Rape Crisis Center assisted 327 victims of sexual assault in Lubbock and the surrounding rural communities. Sadly, 48% of those cases involved children under the age of 17 years. Please help us speak out against sexual violence and be a part of the 3rd Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes events.

  • Annual Denim Day - April 21st
    In 1998, an Italian Supreme Court decision overturned a rape conviction because the victim wore jeans, reasoning she must have helped her attacker remove them. Wearing jeans on this day has become an intenational symbol of protest against erroneous assumptions about rape.

    + Break the silence surrounding sexual violence!
