Hilary Malatino, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies, affiliated faculty in the Department of Philosophy, and a research associate with the Rock Ethics Institute at Penn State University.

Bio:Hil Malatino is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Philosophy and a research associate with the Rock Ethics Institute at Penn State University. They are the author of Queer Embodiment: Monstrosity, Medical Violence, and Intersex Experience (University of Nebraska Press, 2019). You can find their essays in Hypatia, TSQ, Angelaki, and The Journal of Medical Humanities, among other sites. They are currently researching, writing, and teaching at the juncture of trans studies, feminist science and technology studies, and affect theory.

Dr. Malatino will be on campus frequently meeting with faculty, staff and students. They will be also be joining the Humanities Center Book Club Discussion, and guest lecturing in several TTU and TTUHSC classes.
