V-Day Lubbock Coalition (Facebook link) is a Texas Tech Univesity Student Organization aimed at promoting an awareness campaign to end violence against women & girls. For more information email vdaylubbock@gmail.com.

A Silent Auction will take place during each of the 3 performances of The Vagina Monologues: March 6, March 27, & April 3. All of the proceeds will go directly to purchasing supplies for the women of the City of Joy in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These women have all been victims of rape, genital mutilation and abuse. They have fled to the City of Joy where they can receive counseling and skills training, as well as learn how to become advocates for other women in their villages.

All Artwork is welcomed and greatly appreciated and all donors will receive free tickets to a performance of The Vagina Monologues. If you are interested in helping with this project, please send an email and we will be glad to pick up your donations. Click here for more details.

    Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives. For more than twelve years, the Vagina Monologues have given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public.
