Eli was born and raised in Lubbock, TX and became a member of the Texas Tech community in 2015. He is the third generation in his family to do so. Eli graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Before coming to Tech as staff, Eli worked for two years in retail management with H-E-B where he was responsible for efficiency metrics and partner training for the Service Department.  

In his role as a Senior Academic Advisor, Eli's focus is on engaging students so that they may discover, develop, and realize their goals. By participating in open dialogue with students, he hopes to help them navigate their academic careers successfully and to become an active participant in their own lives.  

In his free time Eli enjoys reading ridiculous LitRPGs and Sci-Fi novels, baking, knitting, and singing. He is the proud father of a Chihuahua-mix named Ginny who he promises is nice once she gets to know you.
