Criteria: The intent of this award is to recognize support of outstanding research, scholarship, and creative activity of research staff members (e.g., research aide, research technician, research associate, post-doctoral research associate, etc.). Each department may submit a nomination to the Dean's Office. Eligible nominees will include all full-time research staff members within the college. An individual may receive this award only one time. The nominee should have a minimum of three years of service with the college (at the time of nomination). This award does not have to be presented every year. Required documents for this award include a copy of the nominee's vita and a support document from the chair/department (maximum of one page). The college recognition will take place at the Davis College Faculty Retreat. The award will be accompanied by a cash gift and a plaque.

Timeline: Nominations due to Davis College Administrative Council in May. Selections made in June.

Presentation: Davis College Awards Banquet in August.
