Dr. Cindy Akers (joined Davis College 1997); Associate Dean for Academic and Student Programs. A nationally-recognized agricultural communications educator, has served in several leadership roles from president of the Non-land-grant Agriculture and Renewable Resources Universities to being named a Fellow in the American Association for Agricultural Education. A native of Estancia, New Mexico, Akers earned her bachelor's degree in agricultural communications, master's degree in agricultural education and doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Texas Tech.

Sandra Addo (joined Davis College 2020), Administrator for Diversity and Graduate Student Recruitment. She is responsible for coordinating diversity recruitment of all students for Davis College through a targeted effort, as well as creating and distributing information and printed literature emphasizing Davis College diversity, its programs, centers and facilities. Prior to joining the Davis College staff, Addo served as admissions counselor with Tech's Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The Wylie, Texas, native received her bachelor's in business administration and marketing, and master's degrees in strategic communication and innovation from Texas Tech.

Shelbey Havens (joined Davis College 2018); College Recruiter. Prior to joining the Tech staff, Havens worked as assistant director for recruitment and marketing at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center-School of Health Professions. Prior to that she worked as a sales associate with MEC Medical and ZimmerBiomet, as well as an office administrator with the Texas Senate Committee on Agriculture, Water and Rural Affairs. Havens received her bachelor's degree in agricultural communications from Texas Tech.

Maeley Herring (joined Davis College 2022); Program Manager for Academic & Student Programs. The Archer City, Texas native's primary duties include developing policies, procedures, goals, and outcomes for the academic advising office and being responsible for advisors adhering to curriculum requirements including department, college, university and state requisites. She'll also be responsible for undergraduate programs, degree plans, transfer credits, tuition rebates, awarding of undergraduate degrees and advising.

Madi Nall (joined Davis College 2021); Administrator for Scholarships. She oversees scholarship awarding process for the college including entering freshmen, entering transfer and currently enrolled students from application submission to awarding process, as well as manage two university accounts which include maintaining spreadsheets, preparing deposits, purchase orders and other necessary procedures. The Plainview, Texas native received her bachelor's degree in agricultural communications from Texas Tech (2019).

Tristin Campbell (joined Davis College 2021); Assistant Director for Academic & Student Programs. She is responsible for undergraduate programs, degree plans, transfer credits, commencement, awarding of undergraduate degrees, advising, supervisory duties and assisting Davis College's Associate Dean for Academic & Student Programs. The Brownwood, Texas, native received her bachelor's degree in public relations (2011) and is working toward her master's degree in instructional design and technology, both from Texas Tech.
