San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. Ranch Horse Team Scholarship
Established in 2010 by the San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. to provide scholarships to students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources who are members of the Ranch Horse Team. Students must have graduated from an accredited Texas high school and must earn a minimum GPA 2.0 each semester.

South Texas Scholarship Fund
Established in 2012 by Linda Avila to provide scholarships to students enrolled in the Department of Animal and Food Sciences who are from the following counties: Kinney, Uvalde, Bexar, Wilson, Karnes, Golliad, Dewitt, Victoria, Calhoun, Aransas, Refugio, Bee, Atascosa, Frio, Zavala, Maverick, Dimmit, La Salle, McMullen, Live Oak, San Patricio, Nueces, Jim Wells, Duval, Webb, Jim Hog, Kleberg, Kennedy, Brooks, Zapata, Starr, Hidalgo, Willacy, and Cameron.

Southwest Meat Association Scholarship
Established in 1992 by the Southwest Meat Association to provide scholarships to currently enrolled junior or senior Animal Science majors with a minimum GPA of 2.5. who have demonstrated participation in extracurricular activities and expressed an interest in the meat industry.
