The World Ag Expo is the largest annual agricultural show in the world. With more than 1,200 exhibitors, the International Agri-Center expects to welcome more than 100,000 guests during the three-day event.

Stop by booth 7005 in the Ag Career and Education Pavillion to visit with Davis College representatives and learn more about how Texas Tech is shaping the future of agriculture, natural resources and landscape architecture.

“We are excited for the opportunity to showcase Texas Tech at such a staple event for the agricultural industry,” said Robert Cox, associate dean for academic and student programs. “The World Ag Expo allows us to connect with prospective students and reconnect with alumni working in the industry.”

Cox said they have a unique opportunity this year to take current Davis College students who grew up in the Central Valley of California.

Erika and Haley VanderMaarl are members of the Davis College student recruiting organization, Agri-Techsans.  The sisters, along with fellow Agri-Techsan, Reagan Henderson, grew up in Tulare, CA and are excited to return home for an event that has been a part of their lives forever.
