Texas Tech paid tribute to 44 longstanding faculty and staff from the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources during the spring semester, recognizing their commitment and the meaningful roles they've played over decades of service. The honorees, whose service milestones span from five to forty years, were presented with pins during the university’s Length of Service Awards ceremony, held on Thursday, April 23, at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion.
Among those honored were Ambika Sridhara with Animal & Food Sciences, who was celebrating 40 years of service, and Agricultural & Applied Economics’ Phil Johnson marking 35 years with the university.
Among those honored was Experimental Sciences Building-based Ambika Sridhara, a research technician based with the Department of Animal & Food Sciences, who was celebrating an 40 years of service. Also recognized are Phil Johnson, a Professor and Charles Thompson Chair with the Department of Agricultural & Applied Economics with 35 years, along with Business Manager Nancy Hubbard in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Professor Heidi Brady, in the Department of Animal & Food Sciences – each marking 30 years with the university.
