Cadet Alejandro Edward Alonzo is from Abilene, Texas. He is the son of John and Barbra Alonzo.  Mr. Alonzo will receive a Bachelor of General Studies degree in General Studies from Texas Tech University. He will attend the Basic Officer Leaders Course for instruction in the Infantry Branch at Fort Benning, Georgia. He is pending unit assignment on active duty.  His Mother, Second Lieutenant, U.S. Army Reserve, Barbra Alonzo will administer his oath of office. His Father, John Alonzo and his Mother Barbra Alonzo will pin on his gold bars. He will be presenting his Silver Dollar Salute to Master Sergeant (Retired) Samuel Berrios, former Senior Military Science Instructor, U.S. Army ROTC, Texas Tech University. 

 



Nicholas Baum

Cadet Nicholas Joseph Baum is from Rowlett, Texas.  He is the son of Franklin Baum and Sue O'Connor. Mr. Baum will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from Texas Tech University.  He will attend the Basic Officer Leaders Course for instruction in the Quartermaster Branch at Fort Lee, Virginia.  He will be assigned to 101st Airborne, 2nd IBCT, Fort Campbell, Kentucky after serving as Camp Lieutenant at Advanced Camp, Cadet Summer Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky this summer. Major James S. Arthurs, Professor of Military Science, U.S. Army ROTC, Texas Tech University will administer his oath of office. His parents, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Franklin Baum and Sue O'Connor will pin on his gold bars. He will present his Silver Dollar Salute to Master Sergeant John Jackson, Senior Military Instructor, U.S. Army ROTC, Texas Tech University.

 



Ivonne Davila,

Cadet Ivonne Davila is from El Paso, Texas. She is the daughter of Claudia Davila. Miss Davila will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University.  She will attend the Basic Officer Leaders Course for instruction in the Chemical Branch at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. She will be assigned to First Infantry Division, 2nd Armor Brigade Combat Team, Fort Riley, Kansas on active duty.  Her Sister, Captain Grisel Davila, U.S. Army, will administer her oath of office. Her Mother, Claudia Davila and her mentor, Lieutenant Colonel, (Retired) Gary Crafton, Senior Army Instructor JROTC, Del Valle High School, El Paso, Texas will pin on her gold bars. She will present her Silver Dollar Salute to Sergeant First Class (Retired) Melissa Dinkins, Army Instructor, JROTC, Del Valle High School, El Paso, Texas.

Cadet Jacob Garcia is from Houston, Texas. He is the son of Javier Garcia and Maria Fraustro. Mr. Garcia will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Texas Tech University. He will attend Northern Illinois University College of Law under an approved Army educational delay.  He is pending his first duty assignment on active duty. Major James S. Cadet Gabriella Nicole Perez is from Victoria, Texas. She is the daughter of Benny and Belinda Perez. Ms. Perez will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas Tech University 2021. She is being recognized as part of this year's Senior MS IV Army ROTC class and 2021 cohort as she will commission after her graduation in August 2021.

Cadet Jackson Matthew Wymer is from San Antonio, Texas.  He is the son of Matthew and  Sarah Wymer. Mr. Wymer will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Texas Tech University. He will attend the Basic Officer Leaders Course for instruction in the Chemical Branch at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. His Grandfather, First Lieutenant John Boswell Sr., U.S. Army, will administer his oath of office. His Mother, Sarah Wymer and his Sister, Olivia Wymer will pin on his gold bars.
