Rina Little
Dr. Rina Kundu Little is an Associate Professor in the School of Art and affiliated faculty with Women's and Gender Studies at Texas Tech University. Her research addresses the politics of being within environments, particularly how ideas and concepts within new materialisms and critical place-conscious education can be used to ask questions about what kinds of relations we seek with others, both human and nonhuman. She is most interested in material and relational entanglements and affects; how meanings are constructed through cultural practices and differences; how places can be altered and connected to sites of struggle; and how performative acts of inhabiting space creatively through making and storying enable reimagination, transformation, and relations of possibility . She has published articles and chapters in Studies in Art Education, Art Education, Visual Arts Research, Translations, and Seeing the Power of Teacher Researchers, among others.
