For the third straight year, the Center for World University Rankings has rated Texas Tech in the Top 2% of more than 20,000 institutions worldwide.
Specifically, US News & World Reports ranks TTU No. 435 in the world.
Texas Tech has achieved the gold standard in research rakings—as a Carnegie Tier I research institution.
We're No. 1! Texas Tech was named No. 1 among online, Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) in Texas by Texas Online Colleges. In 2019, TTU was designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution by the U.S. Department of Education.
For Diversity, TTU ranked in the Top 15% nationwide (445 out of 3,515) in 2021 by College Factual.
