The Burkhart Center's Outpatient Clinic offers several services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. These services include Focused ABA, social skills classes, and contract consultations.
- Focused ABA services will address specific behavior concerns and goals through individual treatment, parent training, social opportunities and treatment transition planning. Clients accepted into the program will be eligible for up to 180 hours per year of one-on-one and small group therapy, for up to 720 hours in a lifetime.
- The Children's Autism Program through Texas Health and Human Services provides financial support to focused ABA children aged 3-15 years with a formal diagnosis of ASD. The Burkhart Center also accepts insurance payment and private pay options.
- Social skills classes will be offered for individuals of all ages with ASD. Classes will run two times each semester and have a variety of themes. Dates and times can be found on our website at https://www.depts.ttu.edu/burkhartcenter/.
- Contracted consultations with outside agencies can also be provided to organizations seeking assistance with training or behavioral support.
