I was born and raised in the city of Gulbarga located in the Southern Indian State Karnataka. After my high school, I moved to Bangalore for my Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore University. In 2015 I moved to Lubbock, TX to start my Masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas Tech University. I joined Reible Research Group in June 2015 and started my PhD under Dr. Danny Reible. My research interest involves remediation and transport modelling of Hydrophobic organic contaminants in sediments and sediment pore water mainly focusing on Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon(PAH). I'm currently working on several projects determining the contaminants concentration profile in sediments and Performance of Materials like Activated Carbon for Capping/Sediment Remediation.
