Service Project Programs

Service Project Abroad

The Whitacre College of Engineering emphasizes that we are all a part of the greater human family and to develop students as global citizens that are prepared for the intercultural workforce, we connect Red Raiders of all engineering disciplines with service opportunities abroad in structured TTU-affiliate programs. Develop your intercultural competency, adaptability, and leadership skills in an engineering-focused environment. With our affiliate programs, you will work with local experts and community organizations to provide sustainable, real-world solutions, and create a lasting impact.

Students can also participate in independent service projects, using their own connections, to fulfill the international requirement. The program must be a minimum of 6 weeks in length. Students must receive pre-approval from the IEP by completing the IEP International Service Form and including supporting documentation.
