According to the October 1, 2020 issue of Diverse Issues in Higher Education magazine, Texas Tech University is ranked #19 among Top Producers of Hispanic Graduates in Communications, Journalism, and Related Programs.

Upcoming: New Position in Hispanic/Latinx Media & Communication

The college is hiring a new position in Hispanic/Latinx Media & Communication: Assistant Professor of Practice and Assistant Director of the Thomas Jay Harris Institute for Hispanic and International Communication (HIHIC).

President's Excellence in Diversity & Equity Award 2020 Staff Recipient: Julia Heard Witt

Julia HeardJulia Heard Witt, M.Ed., senior director of advising and recruiting for the College of Media & Communication, was recently recognized with a President's Excellence Award for her work in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion on the Texas Tech University campus.

Heard Witt was one of only six individuals (and the only staff member) to receive the President's Excellence in Diversity & Equity Award this year. Read the full article on Texas Tech Today
